Whether you are managing a team or running your own route, personalizing your first point of contact is key to high conversion rates. RepCard allows for both company-wide defaults and individual personalization for these initial messages.
How to Set Company-Wide Defaults (Admins)
If you are a company admin, you can set the standard messaging that every rep under your umbrella will use by default.
Navigate to Settings: From the dashboard, click on Settings in the main menu.
Select Initial Messages: Locate the Initial Messages tab at the top of the settings page.
Update Defaults: Customize the messaging for each available option. These will automatically become the default templates for your entire team.
How to Personalize Your Own Messages (Individual Reps)
Even if an admin has set a default, individual reps (like Blake Larson in our example) can still create their own unique flair.
Access Profile Settings: Click on your Profile Picture in the top right corner of the screen.
Open Profile Settings: Select Profile Settings from the dropdown menu.
Select Initial Messages: Just like the admin view, look for the Initial Messages tab at the top of the page.
Edit for Yourself: Update the text to fit your personal selling style. This only changes the messages for your account, not the whole company.
