When adding a new team member, you may occasionally see a message stating the user already exists in the RepCard system. This usually means they previously had a solo account or were part of another company.
To bring them onto your team, follow the process based on their current account type:
1. Moving a Solo User
If the user has a standard free account, our support team can move them instantly.
What to do: Simply send a "Move User Request" to our support team. Requests are completed in the order we receive them within 4 business hours.
The Result: We will link them to your company, update their role and team assignment, and notify you as soon as it's completed.
2. Moving Enterprise Users
If the user is currently paying for their own subscription or belongs to another organization, we require an extra layer of security to protect their data.
The Process: Once you submit the request, our team will reach out to the user directly to get their or the previous company's official approval to be moved.
The Result: As soon as the user confirms the move, we will finalize the transfer to your enterprise account.
4 Tips for a Smooth Team Expansion
Check the Email First: Before adding a user, verify if they have used RepCard in the past with that specific email address.
Notify the Rep: If you know they are coming from another company, give the rep a heads-up to look for an approval email from RepCard Support so the move happens faster.
Data Integrity: Moving an existing user ensures they keep their personal digital business card history and reviews while gaining access to your company’s specific set up.
